Copy That... Cat!

We live in enlightened Times; evolved times, a Time when we are yet again at the cusp of History , about to unravel... the next phase.

We live in unprecedented times:
It's 2020, after all...!
"We're ' caught' between the two worlds;
One Dead , the other, powerless  to be born".
Matthew Arnold, the poet was lamenting the demise of Victorian puritanism and the transition to the 19th century which wrought Industrialisation and a different age.
It's relevant today also. The future holds the key to its mystique and the hope and promise of an evolved tomorrow!
Yet we don't know if we ; the Humans will survive to be part of that Future.

Our planet is on the brink of collapse; environmental issues are ''The burning issues'', literally and figuratively!

"We are the Hollow men,
  We are  the dead men..."

T.S. Eliot in his famous poem by the same name; unravels the human predicament : of modern life and contemporary times.
True dat!
Our conscience is drowned in the deep sea of consumerism culture. Our emotions are buried within our deadwood of being...
Not Alive but existing; not thriving, but surviving!

Our soulless mechanized system drives on instant gratification and feverish pursuit of material accoutrements and success!
We've forayed in the realm of AI for quite some time now.

We're also, for quite some time now, becoming disassociated with the Numero Uno element that defines our place in the cosmos: our humanity...! 

We're not just in a rat race, we're in the race to be the best possible Version of being a 'Copy Cat'.

What others achieve; we want the exact same thing: titles, Roles, Social status, material, followers on social media, clout, self, power and position.

We're not just living in a fish bowl; we've a yearning to be the most visible in the said bowl...

We're reaching the'Next Level' of Imitation being the sincerest form of Flattery'.

We're the 'cats whiskers',the feline living on the edge... Living out the Life and hoping to match the Nine lives of the feline species: Copy Cat...That!
